Harder than it looks, Nov 23, 2007

Played this one a bunch. After the first time I fell in love with it. Easy walk, tough par three's and an easy par 5 make this entertaining and tight, lined with evergeens and interesting bunker layout. Dryest course in western washington.

Good, dry course. Very nice people that run it. Nice driving range. Good greens. Narrow fairways. A good over all course.Nice little resturant. Bring tums.

"Great place to go have fun!"
This course is a fun and challenging course. I gave it 4 stars because no course is perfect. The only problem with this course is there is a lot of trees which means there are usually a lot of leaves on the ground, especially in the fall. You also have to think about the trees themselfs, because no matter what everybody tells you, trees are NOT 90% air.

"Basic golf outing"
In Bullhead City, the wind usually blows hard. This course is short, albeit somewhat challenging, because of the conditions played in. The fairways are unremarkable, the greens putt mostly true, although is tough to read. Usually putt the straight line and on the hard side to get them in. You won't need driver too often. Better than a kick in the head, but not the best golf around. Good practice.

Orchard's, The
"A nice 9 hole"
I've played this course at least 30 times. I'm a pretty new golfer (3 years) and I usually shoot 5-10 over at the Orchard's. Pros: It's not a par-3. Orchards does have a couple of short holes (2,6,& 8 especially), but 3 & 9 are reasonable for driving, 4 with a smaller wood. It's good for "freshening up", as you get to use everything in the bag. It's also reasonable at ~$15 a game for out of towners. Cons: "Bunching up" is common on weekends, and lots of folks don't fix divots. The course is sometimes not as well kept as it could be. Basically, it's a fun place to play, though about 1000 yards short of playing 9 on a "full" course. It is challenging and certainly worth playing at least once or twice no matter what your experience level.
