This course best features are its fairways lined by trees and homes. The course was built on flat terrain and is easy to walk. Rough on the Fairways, Sep 03, 2007

The course plays pretty well on most holes, with some interesting hazards. The hazards are very dry during the summer and make them playable and sometimes the further in the hazard the better off you are. The fairways can rande from wide and clean to non-existant. Thde greens are a little rough sometimes but overall they're decent ans getting better.

this course is very muddy when played mid to late march. i even lost a ball that i hit straight down the fairway due to mud. hopefully it gets better when it dries out

North Hills Country Club

Member : I found this golf course very changing and beautiful. Even though the course is somewhat short, it is heavily guarded with trees and it has a fair amount of sand around the greens and 3 fairway bunkers, the 1st is on #3 and the other 2 on #17 . The greens are very will maintained with a good quick pace to them. It would be wise to keep it in the short grass because the ruff can get pretty hairy. The best thing about this course is that the average cost to play is $20 to $40 dollars with cart. The down side is that it is located in the sticks (Corry Pa.), about 50 to 60 minutes south east of Erie Pa. They recently started taking take t-times about 2 years ago, so you can call ahead and schedule your time (up to 3 days ahead). If you like a changing and scenic golf course you should take the short trip to North Hills and give the course a try. Happy golfing R.A.W.

Los Alamos Golf Course
"Great challenge for your game"
This course is a challenging course for the average player up to the scratch professionals. The fairways are tight and lined with sparse pine trees. The course is an old style course, which means it has incredibly small greens. The greens are probably to most true rolling greens in the state of New Mexico due to being so old. The course is short and very opportune for low scores. I really enjoyed playing this course and the people around the club. They treat you well and the rates are EXTREMELY cheap for such a quality course. I suggest taking the trip up to Los Alamos to have a great round of golf and also to enjoy the sights of the Jemez Mountains.

Country Club at Castle Pines
"Best in Colorado"
This course matches with any in difficulty from the tips. It is awesome to play and has many great golf holes. From th regular men's tee it is a terrific course as well. Fairways can be tight so high handicappers may find the course tougher and not as enjoyable as some. But, hey, with the views (best in the country for a mountain course) everyone will love this track. I have guests from all over the country play this course and rave.

"great for the novice"
I think this is a great course for beginners. Its inexpensive and forgiving in a lot of areas. No water hazards mean you won't lose a lot of balls. All and all a good course to practice on or to enjoy with a friend.
