This well-manicured course has several sand bunkers in play, and out-of-bounds stakes line several fairways. The fairways require extreme caution due to the hills, but they still afford generous landing areas. The greens are large and undulating. Water hazards come into play approximately eight times. You must cross over a creek twice on hole #2, a 528-yard, par 5. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 4th best for 1997-98. The facility hosts the annual Nike Omaha Classic.

Okay but not what I expected, Aug 25, 2008 |

The course is okay but conditions were sub par when I played. You can see a Target store from the 1st tee and Clubhouse patio which takes something away from the experience as well.

I believe that the Champions Club offers one of the most spectacular and challenging rounds of golf in all of nebraska. The course is designed to challenge the best golfers around. This 18 hole course will make you beg for mercy as it challenges accuracy along with distance, seeing as hole 6 is over 600 yards long from the black tees and the green on hole 12 is surrounded by water. This course has been the main reason that I have been so addicted to golf in the past and will be my favorite course for years to come.

This course is very fun to play. I am a member at "Champions Run", which is the clubs new name. The pros at the course are excellent. I would recommend this course to golfers with experience only!! Otherwise have fun shooting in the mid hundreds!

The Champions Club is one of the nicest courses I have ever played. I've been to Augusta National and Champions in my opinion is as nice, if not nicer than Augusta. The course is well kept with fast greens and amazing scenery. If you are ever going to live in Omaha, become a member of this course and you will be amazed as well.
