not bad but could be better, Jan 29, 2007

The golfing has always been good to very good, and it has been this way for 16 years. However, I think the best times for this facility are behind it, and it has seen a definite decline in services since 2001 when Wilson Golf Group bought out the original owners. Particularly, I could never figure out why Wilson saw the necessity to close the restaurant; it had an incredible view and was well-known and very busy and popular all the time. That is what I miss the most. Oh, and I think a good advertising campaign could definitely invigorate the bar/grill operation and would make a larger menu possible for members and the public alike. But what worth is this humble old man's opinion?

The golfing experience was excellent; my organization had an outing that was facilitated with perfection by the pro shop staff. The really impressive part of the day, though, was the food...the head chef Mark Hofschild (I was sure to complement him) and his staff put together some of the best tasting and best presented food I've ever seen.

A wonderful course, Aug 28, 2005

This course is well designed and has many great holes to play. Cedar Creek is a very well kept course and is very playable even in the worst of conditions. The fairway is always trimmed to perfection, and the greens neither too fast nor too slow. The course can be played as a tough course because there are many wooded areas and other areas where it is near impossible to reach the green in regulation. However, if you can control your drives, the course can be played easily for the most part. Cedar Creek is an oveall wonderful course and the staff and fellow members are very friendly.
