The greens are very undulating and fast. There is a new pin placement each day of the week. There is also variety of slope and elevations on the greens. The fairways were designed to be traditional; however, at present the course is young. Once the trees have matured, wind and the present links feel will be less of a factor. Water comes into play on ten holes in the form of man-made ponds and creeks.

Great people, Jul 31, 2004
reviewer: Jon Haverman from Cleveland, Ohio
We chose to play Eagles Landing over the Legacy in Michigan, mainly because of the golf special. It was worth the change, and the course is a nice challenge. Our foursome had a wonderful day, as it started out with FRIENDLY people. Far too often the first experience is the staff, and some placed just don't seem to care your spending your extra cash to play 'their' course. I have to say these were the best greens I have played all year, and maybe in two years. They accepted the ball well, and were true in every means. Plus, all the greens were consistent. My complaint was how much water was around the greens, and in some instances, in the middle of the fairway. I had two drives plug in the middle of the fairway. Prices in the club house were reasonable as well. Two beers and two pops at the turn were less than $8.00! Nice Sale items were available for balls and other accessories. Oh, I shot a 75. Our foursome allows for one mulligan an 18. I used it when I hit a long drive through a dogleg on the back nine, and ended up in the backyard of some of the fine, but not gaudy, looking homes which flank the course layout.
