Maumee Bay State Park is a links style course; few trees, a lot of water and heather along most fairways. Friendly staff, top rate conditions and very little play make this one of the best public courses in the greater Toledo area. I play this course several times a year, rarely having to wait on players ahead of me. The course is close to Lake Erie where a rather nice resort sits. If you are coming for the evening, they offer gazebo-styled cottages along part of the course. Very nice is all aspects...
