This eighteen hole golf course is unique in topography for southern Michigan because of its rolling, hilly terrain. This is a very user-friendly course that meets the competitive desires of the novice to advanced amateur. The greens are impeccably maintained and offer a great variety in size and design. The course was built over an area that was once a Christmas tree lot. There are a great deal of small spruce trees left over to line the fairways. Every hole has some type of tree population. The signature hole is #10, a 411-yard, par 4, which is elevated at least eighty-five feet above the landing area. The fairway winds to a green that is tree lined and well-bunkered. There is another ladies' tee not shown measuring 4,429 yards with a course rating of 66.1 and a slope of 113.

| Lynx is hands down the best golf in the Allegan county area. You know as soon as you are teeing off at #1 that its gonna be a good experience. Lee and Jonas in the clubhouse are awesome to deal with. They have a great pub too with some really nice specials. Everyone is focused on making sure you have a great time. But back to the golf. The course is very wooded. The fairways are always in nice shape. Greens are big and smooth. This place takes some "Pure Michigan" photos in fall for sure. Go before the leaves fall off the trees, its amazing. There is so much elevation change in this course its hard to believe you are still in West Michigan. The 10th Teebox offers an amazing view of the valley. If you havent played Lynx yet, make sure you give it a try. You wont be disappointed with the golf or the price. Many locals will swear by Thornapple Creek, but for me, its all Lynx. |
