This course has large, fast greens and fairways. Because of the numerous trees, the back nine is narrower than the front nine. Water hazards (a creek) come into play on fourteen holes. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 2nd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. Twilight rates available for members on weekends and holidays only.

Tight in OP, Feb 18, 2005 |

| Not sure what the previous review is refering to. The front 9 is MUCH tighter than the back. Only hit 2 drivers on the front. Possibly they switched 9's. The course is a shot-makers course. Place it correctly, and score low. Beautiful creek winds throughout the course. Fairways are zoysia, not bermuda. Tees are zoysia as well. Greens are 8.5/10. Rest of course is perfect. |

Good Course, Bad Shape, Apr 09, 2004 |

| The course layout is fun and challenging, but the greens are slow and in bad shape. Also take note that the course does not have a driving range so hit balls somewhere else before you head over to Deer Creek for your round. |
