Yes it can be crowded and slow.. But go with 4 buddies, drink some beer and enjoy your self. Not overly difficult but challenging enough to make it fun. .. I recommend it for cost and enjoyment.

Be warned that Overaland Park courses play 5 somes. Yuck! Slow as Christmas. However, if you are stuck in Johnson County, short on cash and want to play, St. Andrews can satisfy your fix. First of all the clubhouse is beautiful. The course is an easy walk. The front is easy and boring, but the back has a pretty good layout. 2 stars is all it warrants, but thats better than 1 star

I believe that this Golf Course is the best, not only because it is pretty much in my backyard, but the service, food, and manners are great. The Green's Caretaker is there everyday, watering the grass, keeping it low, and making sure it is of the highest standard for golfing pleasures. I also think that this is the best golf course in the Kansas City area because it is a very formal place, but it is open to the public. Take my consideration and go try out St. Andrew's Highland's Golf Course in Overland Park, Kansas.
