This is a fairly hard course that features many trees and several water hazards incorporated into its design. The greens are fast, and the fairways are narrow. The signature hole is #13, a 441-yard, par 4, requiring a well-struck approach shot past a large spruce tree blocking the front of a green that slopes from left to right. Gerry Pirkl designed the back nine a few years after the original nine opened.
