Wind is usually a factor on this course, due to its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. The par 5's are relatively short, but offer challenges like water in front of the greens, such as on holes #9 and #11. A couple of holes have blind shots to the green, so some local knowledge is useful. The signature hole is #14, a 191-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to an island green, usually into prevailing winds. The first five holes on this golf course were completely redesigned in 1995.

Beautiful Course with just enough challenge to make it enjoyable. We had spectacular weather, the ocean breezes keeping the afternoon a cool 70 degrees. I'd highly recommend!
