This course features narrow fairways because there are homes along their borders. Five lakes and seventy eight bunkers have been incorporated into this course's design. Almost every fairway is moguled or mounded on the sides to emphasize the landing areas. The other tee shown is an additional men's tee. This is a family-oriented club offering many programs in golf, tennis and swimming. Members of this club also enjoy privileges at the Village Golf Center At Stonebrook. The 6,181-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 72.2 and a slope of 124.

Well maintained and from the correct tee-a real challenge, Jun 27, 2004

Very nice tract, as well maintained as any course anywhere. Greens were suberb. Pick the right tee and with the prevailing wind, you will have played all the shots. Water and sand plentiful. Bargain for the golf.

The course can be challenging for the lower handicap golfer but is very fair to the beginner or higher handicap. Steady improvements in drainage over the last two years make the course playable irrespective of the weather Great staff.

Very good layout, excellent play during dry weather, but a little soggy after rain. Greens are some of the best in area.

"New design poor, operation run poorly..."
The scenery is nice and price is about average for a public course, but here's a few pet peaves: - The course was redesigned a few years back to try to squeeze a few more stokes onto par by making it a par 69 from the original 66. The results were in my estimation, terrible. They basically redesignated two long par 4's into short par fives, combined to par 3's into a par 4, and added a 50 yard new par 3. - The proshop is run extremely unprofessionally by retirees and kids under 16. I've also witnessed the "owner" hanging around and acting like a yahoo. Let's put it this way, not your typically golf links proprietor! - The greens are colored during the summer with some bluish dye that gets all over your clothes, clubs, and ball. I suspect it covers up the burned out yellow spots on the greens. - Finally, I've never seen greens like the ones at this place. They are kept long and are, by far, the slowest I've ever encountered. I've literally seen playing partners skull a wedge from 60 yards and it doesn't even roll off the green. Weird.
