This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. These flat courses have waterways coming into play on many of their holes. The North Course has tighter fairways, and the firm greens are fast and full of subtle breaks. The South Course has smaller greens and is more open, but it is heavily bunkered. The greens are firm, fast, and undulating. The signature hole for the club is on the North Course, hole #15, a par 5, requiring an approach shot to an island green.

Hillcrest Golf Club
"Shape your game"
I grew up the area playing this course weekly for many years.I shaped my game at this little gem. Sixteen years later I play golf in Austin and work with a team of middle school golfers. As for Hilcrest...The first 3 holes are par 3s.(W/9,5/6, W/SW) They added some water to number one and moved the tee years ago. It puts a whole new spin on number one. People are less likely to hit the cars in the parking lot and/or Mr. Wilson's house too. Huge pines could save your ball from a feild(now the driving range) on the left if you are hooker.People teeing off on number eight and on 7's green also come in to play for some bad slicers. Three had a huge Oak that came into play for high wedges coming in from the left side. Water fountain at 4 was nice In July and august. Number 4 is a ~310yard par 4. Little ditch running accross about 270? made many people lay-up. Eagleable on many days. Another par 3 follows a treeline for Hole 5 and then my favorite par 4 is next. Over a wide lake...that eats up every bad slice for righties. Another eagleable ~300yarder. The lake has nice size bass in it too. Seven is the only par 5, a dogleg to the right. Eight is a par 4 with a huge ditch eating drives by the minute. And we end with a par 4, left dogleg that is reachable with a crush over the corner. Lights added make night golf fun! Drving range is huge so you have plenty of swing room.

Wynstone Golf Club

Wynstone is situated on a topographically diverse landscape, unbecoming of many Chicagoland golf venues. It has abundant wildlife which adds to the course's balance between a parkland and wetland. Wynstone also offers a unique challenge for any golfer. Not only is the golf course difficult at 7,000+ yards, but also presents a challenge to any comers at 6,500. Both birdies and bogies are easily found throughout the track. Finally, the course is maintained hard and fast. Fairways and greens are firm which requires and rewards shotmaking.

Lufkin Country Club
"Very fun, and inexpensive."
This course is a very well kept secret in the old part of Lufkin, Texas. Not your upper tier type course but cheap for the quality. Fairways are very plush with just a very few spots that need work. And the greens, oh wow, possibly the best greens in the Lufkin-Nacogdoches area (including Crown Colony). It has the very challenging holes that you need to play cautious golf, and then it has the type of holes that you can attack with everything you have. When you finish this course, you will definately want to come back for more.
