This resort features two regulation eighteen hole courses. These courses, site of the Frank Sinatra Tournament, are beautifully maintained and feature wide fairways. The Palms Course was "Golf Digest's" runner-up for Best New Resort in 1987. Hole #7, on the Palms Course, a 575-yard, par 5, features a waterfall and a large rock formation. The Valley Course, loaded with both water hazards and sand bunkers, was "Golf Digest's" runner up for the Best New Course in 1988. The resort also features a unique, 350 yard, eighteen hole putting course, complete with water hazards, sand bunkers and rough. Although the club offers public play, green fees were not available for publication due to the fact that their rates change quite often. Calling ahead of time for the accurate rates is highly recommended by club personnel.

I love this course. Have probably played it as a guest about 8 times and every time I'm done, I can't wait to get back. Played it 2x last summer ('03), when there was a lot of rain out East, and despite that, still enjoyed it. Fairways are among the best conditioned I've ever seen. Greens are in great shape-- and not too big, so you get a lot of makeable putts, but there are a lot of subtleties to them. As for the layout, get your pars and birdies on the front 9 because the back is brutal. One is a straight out Par 5 and you think "this isn't too bad". Get off the tee straight on two. Four is a very good hole. 6 is a sneaky tough par4 dogleg left, and nine is a 450 yard par 4 (blue tees) that gets you geared up for the back. Not a bad hole on the back nine, plus it takes you out of the holes that wind through office buildings and puts you into wetlands. A lot of carry. Par 10-12 and you are ready for 13, a long par 4 with a 2nd shot carry to a green that is impossible to it and impossible to putt. The member I play with is a 5 handicap and he always says--"take your bogey and smile". 14-17 are no gimmes and 18 is a par 4 that demands a 250 yard tee shot, but this leaves you a 170-200 yard uphill approach from a downhill lie to a green that has more break than any other on the course. Clubhouse is nice, but doesn't seem big enough. I've been there on Summer Friday's and it always seems like they need more space. Food is awesome though.
