In 1975, Fuzzy Zoeller won a tour qualifying tournament here. The wind is often a factor on this course. The legendary comic, Bob Hope, has been seen playing this course. William F. Mitchell redesigned the course in 1965.

this course has been redesigned beautifully and has been open since february, 2005.Much of the old course was retained and some new holes added. Great imrovement. New club house, new driving range and putting green. Enjoyable course, good price for palm springs.Will play there this week. Plenty of golf for this 5 handicap.

"Nice change of pace"
This course is a nice change of pace. I have played it every year for the last 5 years for a total of about 15 rounds. The water was way down for a few years and when it was the course was not very nice to look at. Greens are small and challenging. The course is fun to play and reasonably tough. Having a sand trap in the middle of a green is flat out stupid. That hole (# 15) is definately my least favorite hole. The par five # 14 along the road seems to always be in bad shape. Outside of holes #4 , #14 and #15 I like the course .

I have played this course for 5 years and I find it to be one of the nicest courses that I have played to date. It is challenging without being too difficult. Some of the holes require accuracy but, for the most part, it is a very playable and forgiving golf course.
