There are two eighteen hole courses to play here. The Legend Course has wide-open fairways, and the greens are medium-sized and fairly flat. There are no water hazards on this course, but nearly every green is well protected by sand. The Resort Course has rolling fairways with beautiful views and water features. Ted Robinson considers this course one of his best designs. The fairways are wide, and the greens are medium speed and undulating. There are lakes, creeks, streams, and ponds that come into play on eleven holes. The signature hole is #8, a 196-yard, par 3, with a waterfall on the left side that crosses the green. The 6,077-yard ladies' tee on the Legend Course also has a men's course rating of 68.3 and a slope of 111.

The Tahquitz courses are considered Palm Springs' public courses. Very nicely maintained ... like hitting of a thick carpet. Grass driving ranges - yum!

This course is almost perfect to play with a spouse or teen who is not a regular golfer. Reasonable length from all tees. Good weekend get away course. Frequent promotions for good pricing.The staff is accomodating, the course is well maintained. We will always play at least once on a trip to the desert and we always have fun. The Resort course is more of a challenge than my wife wants to tackle so this is a great alterenative.

Kis-N-Greens Golf Course
"Update"
The course has been expanded to 18 holes, par 72. The fairways are improved over the condition that they were in a year ago. Some greens have been expanded, with more to follow. 400 trees have been added to the course as of 2003. The trees are small but will help distinguish fairways from rough. Water comes into play on 6 holes. No sand, and the tee boxes need work (leveling) maybe some irragation on the fairways (more ponds needed). Overall, satisfied with course, wind makes it more difficult than it looks, and greens are deceiving.
