Because of the difference between the front and back nines, this course will give any golfer, duffer or scratch, a true test of the game. The front nine on this scenic design is links-style with water coming into play on four holes. The back nine is cut through mature woodlands, challenging golfers with rolling fairways and array of lakes. This course is considered one of the more scenic layouts in the state. The signature hole is #15, a 267-yard, par 4. The club only offers junior discounts on weekdays.

| I played this course on October 10, 2005. My wife who does not play rode with me and she as a non-golfer enjoyed the beauty of this course. I enjoyed the challanges that it offered. The front was fairly flat but had some holes that offered a challange. The back nine starting with the 12th hole, was a completly different course. Especially the holes 13 thru 15. I consider this one of the better courses that I have played in Illinois. It is well maintained, beautiful layout, and offers a challenge to all levels of golfers. |

| Back nine is very scenic with wonderful environment of giant Oak trees, water, and manicured fairways. A good score requires lots of control. Also, on number 17 a rather cantankerous individual lives next to the fairway--do not hit it in his yard! Front nine is not boring but does not compare to the back. |

Great course for the best, Mar 29, 2004 |

| This course is very challenging yet so enjoyable. It is a great place to go with the family and get something to eat at Mullagins and even pick up a hat or two at the pro shop. Then out to the course for 18 holes for even the most advanced players. Not that great yet Oak Terrace even has a driving range, a practice green, and sand pits to practice from. This place is a true golfers dream. Come try it out |
