This Scottish links-style course is fairly open and has very few trees coming into play. The greens are flat and medium-sized. The terrain is relatively flat, but there are some rolling mounds that can occasionally affect your lies. Water hazards have been strategically placed on ten holes. The signature hole is #13, a 330-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot to a fairway protected by water on the right and out-of-bounds stakes on the left, then an approach over water to an island green. In 1995, this facility hosted the Emerald Coast Spring Classic.

Great challenging course with great value, Jun 12, 2004

I have played this course since it opened. It has matured into a very nice course over the past 10 years. I live in Georgia now and to play this type of course in Georgia would cost $50 to $60. This is a very nice course and is a great value. It is worth the drive away from the beach.

"Best kept secret in central Iowa"
With rolling hills and mature trees, Perry G&CC is an aesthetically pleasing, yet challenging course. A beautiful pond surrounded by wildflowers is in play on the # 2 and 3 holes. Greens are in fine shape and medium fast. Accuracy off the tee is important because of the trees and some uneven lies. Although it is a private club, green fees for non-residents are easily accessible and very affordable. Carts available. The clubhouse staff is friendly and accommodating. Well worth your time and money.

"Nice course but difficult to get on........"
This is a great course, provided you can get on it. Always packed, best course in the area by far....I played here once and I am a resident, that shows you how hard it is to get a tee time here, used to be they only wanted non-residents because they pay more to play, (residents get a great discounted rate)...bad management idea there, of course residents complained and alot has changed....if you get the chance to play here by all means do it...you wont regret it...
