This course is the average golfer's dream. It is not too long, but it can still be difficult if you don't hit the shots. Half the holes are extremely demanding, while the other half are easy to score well on. The course was ranked as the 24th "best in the state" course by the "Arkansas Business Magazine." The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes.

The Paragould Country Club is simply put, a wonderful gem of a course in Northeast Arkansas. With a massive new course renovation completed after the review on this website, the course now has bent grass greens and added challenges. For instance, there are many new sand traps around most of the greens. Some of the holes have been pushed back and repositioned. The course is very well kept and par for 18 holes is 70. The Paragould Country Club can be a lot of fun for duffers like myself or advanced players that have something to prove.

"A must play"
The best golf in the south bay. The course is in great shape year round. Bring your 'A' game or a lot of balls. A little $$$, but it's well worth it. Eagle and Coyote can't compete. It�s important to keep it straight here - 3 woods off the tee for the most part. Sacrifice distance in order to keep yourself in the fairway. It will save you at least half a dozen strokes.

Sharp Park Golf Course
"Great Value ."
Sharp Park is a city owned course. Extremly reasonable rates. Twilight rate in the summer is about $5.00!!! What a value. It's an older course, fairly flat, easily walked, although carts are available. Several years ago the course was redesigned. Several holes were lengthened, a beautiful pond was added. It only comes into play on one hole and only on the mens tees. Due to the reasonable rates, the course has players of all skill levels.
