This course is open to the public after 11 AM. The course has plenty of oak trees that form tree-lines. The fairways are mostly flat and easy to walk. The greens vary in size but all of them are undulating. There are seven ponds that come into play on nine holes. The 6,011-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.9 and slope of 129.

This is a very nice course, but the location makes it a little distracting. It is in the middle of a neigborhood, with little (or at times, *nothing*) separating your misplaced slice and someone's backyard (or worse, someone's back window!). There are virtually no hills, but a lot of water. The greens are very soft and the fairways are in good condition.

Sandpiper Golf & Country Club
"Nice change of pace"
This course is a nice change of pace. I have played it every year for the last 5 years for a total of about 15 rounds. The water was way down for a few years and when it was the course was not very nice to look at. Greens are small and challenging. The course is fun to play and reasonably tough. Having a sand trap in the middle of a green is flat out stupid. That hole (# 15) is definately my least favorite hole. The par five # 14 along the road seems to always be in bad shape. Outside of holes #4 , #14 and #15 I like the course .

If you have never been to this golf course, you need to go. The fairways and greens are in great shape. There is still alot of room for you to get out of trouble. The best golf course I have seen in a long time.
