| I really liked this course! Tree lined fairways and the view from some of the holes was spectacular, specially from the 2 par 3 holes over water! The course was in fantastic shape and very well maintained. I had a wonderful time there! Great test of skill, not overly demanding but still a very good test, and you are forced to use your long irons on many holes! :) Great, great golf course. |

A Fair Golf Test, Apr 10, 2009 |

| Cedar Point Golf Club is a fine course with professional staff, good facilities, and a fantastic location on the Chesapeake Bay. The course is relatively forgiving for wayward tee-shots, and many holes allow for a good rip with the driver. The fairways are relatively flat with very little side-side slope. The greens are the best maintained in Southern Maryland. They tend to be firm, they roll pretty smooth, have interesting shapes and can be tricky to read. The par 5's are all straightforward with only one reasonably reachable in two. The par 4's vary in length with one offering a choice to 'drive the green' and others needing a long iron to reach even with a decent tee-shot. The par 3's are solid! The two shorter ones carry over water, but have sloped greens, while the longer ones are well bunkered. This is definitely a favorite. |

| I was stationed at PAX River for two years. Believe it or not I would leave work for two hours almost everyday to get at least nine holes in.(Dont worry your country was still safe} The couse is awesome and the sights you see while playing there are breath taking. The front nine is a little more forgiving for spraying the ball. Although you need to place each of your shots on the back nine. |

Great Military Course, Dec 27, 2008 |

| Excellent course. Wide fairways; water rarely comes into play. Very picturesque with gorgeous vistas that include Blue Herons, American Bald Eagles and Ospreys. Clubhouse has all the basics - beer, alcohol, soft drinks, hot dogs and other lite snacks. The staff is very helpful, however the club pro seems to have a certain aloofness that doesn't belong at such a great place. He needs a course in friendliness. |

| I have been playing this course since age 12 when we arrived at Pax River from Keflavik, Iceland. I am now 55 and anytime I get up to Pax from Tampa, my friends get me out on the course. It is a beautiful golf course with a great landscape and view of the bay. While you play you also get to see a continuous air-show of the the latest military aircraft being tested at the base. It is always fun to be there! |

Surprisingly good little course, May 21, 2008 |

| Cedar Point was my home course for two years (2002-03). During that time I came to love its design elements. I'm a real snob when it comes to course design, and this place meets my standards. It strikes a great balance between challenge and playability, and has only two boring holes (8 & 9) that are dead straight and usually play into a head- or cross-wind. Conditions are hit or miss - golf isn't the top priority on a Navy base. With a bigger budget and/or better greenskeeper, this place would rate 4 stars. For perfect greens, go to Breton Bay in Leonardtown. For a better design, play Cedar Point - if you have access to NAS Patuxent River. |

| Nice course with plenty of interesting holes. Scenery is nice, with Patuxent River tributaries laced throughout. Course condition is fairly good, especially for southern Maryland. |
