This hilly course has tree-lined fairways and some nice par 3's. The greens on the front nine are small and undulating, requiring some delicate putts. The greens on the back nine are larger, with less undulation, and easier to read. There are four ponds that come into play on six holes.

This is a great course to go out and enjoy the weekend. The front nine is very challaging and enjoyable. The back tests you ability to keep it in the fairway, otherwise your in trouble. Fun for all.

The course is a nice place to golf if you like playing hills, has some tricky water holes and some par 5s but nice over all. Really enjoyable!

Goose Creek Golf Club
"Great course for the aveage golfer"
This is a first rate facility for any golfer. A great putting green and practice area. The course is an intersting yet very playable for the average golfer and a challange from the tips for the better player. Good tee shots are a must. You can get into trouble with an errant tee shot on some of the holes. The greens are interesting. Some are multi layered and were in great condition the last time I played there.

A course perhaps more friendly for the long-ball hitter with more than enough water and some deviously placed sand. Access to the course requires a military affiliation or a friend who can host your play but, well worth the trip. Given its location (on base), play is seldom hampered by a crowded course which also makes it a most hospitable course for the slower player, the short ball hitter or those just learning the game. The placement of water (ponds and streams) makes for an interesting attack plan and invites disaster for the reckless. Improved traps, general landscaping and more attention to tee boxes and greens over the past two seasons has made the course much more enjoyable. The first six holes are a low rolling layout with a lot of trees in play along the fairways. The rest of the course is basically flat with several holes playing parallel to the runway and an occasional aircraft take-off or landing adding to the view. Course amenities are well maintained. Walk, pull a cart or ride in a relatively new electric cart. The golf carts are in great shape and an adjacent driving range is a plus for tuning up before hitting off of the first tee. The clubhouse has a small grill for lunch with a comfortable seating area for a beer after the game. The pro shop is equipped to handle most needs.

Walden Ponds Golf Club
"Golf Outing"
I played in two outings at Walden Ponds golf club in 2003 and I found that the attention to detail was outstanding in both instances. The staff was extremely helpful and the golf course was one of the finest conditioned courses that I played in 2003 including private clubs. I highly recommend that you experience this golf course.
