This course, surrounded by ancient stone walls, is very scenic. There are no sand bunkers or water hazards in the design. The signature hole is #3, a 193-yard, par 3. "Golf Digest" acknowledges this to be the oldest nine hole course in the U.S. There is an additional set of tees when playing an eighteen hole round.

| Golf as it was 100 years ago. Build great memories among your kids and grandkids as you intro them to golf. Wonderful and friendly place to simply start the season and do 18 in just over 3 hours using mostly a full range of clubs at least once or twice. And,you can top it off with a nice bite to eat at a restaurant across the street. Relaxing and fun on sunny day... |

It is what it is!!!!!!, Apr 01, 2009 |

| It is a small neighborhood/village run golf course. Great for a beginner who is starting out playing golf. Dolores always had a smile on her face, she always made you feel welcome. The course is not a "walkover" especially hole nine. Worth the greens fee, Yes. Golf can be frustrating at times, but at Dutcher this doesn't happen very often. As I said, " It is what it is". Nine holes of fun, enjoy!! |

| I've been golfing here for 2 years. It's very cheap. I love to go out for 2 hours and mess around with my friends. It's the perfect place to do so. The tee boxes are in decent shape for a public course in august. The greens are alright, but the fairways are a mess. What more can you expect though it was 18$ for 9 holes with a push cart. Not bad at all. Even though the course is very old, it's not scenic at all. When they say rock wall surrounding the course, it's really falling, messy rockawall guarding this course from the neighbors living rooms and dinning rooms. |

My very first attempt at the game of golf, Aug 14, 2006 |

| I learned the game on this little sweetheart of a course back in the 50's or 60's( If my memory serves me right)How can I forget it. I was stung badly by bees once retrieving a ball I had hit into a stone wall. And the best part was the little dog that would run out into the fairway (over the wall) and steal my ball. My wife, Kathryn and I really enjoyed playing there and had many laughs( mostly at our terrible shots in the stone walls). We live in Florida now among 40 Golf Courses in The Villages of Lady Lake, but nothing here compares to "The Dutcher". Ha Ha Ha After 60 years of marriage we are still at it. I think the worst course I've ever played, Jul 25, 2005 |

| This is probably the worst course I've ever played or seen. The fairway is usually dirt, and there are several 200 yard par 4's. Their signature hole I think is the 400 par 5 #9, which features blind shot after blind shot up hills. If you're looking to play a great historic course (since this is the oldest in the country), you won't get it here. If you're looking to screw around for under 10 bucks with the right coupon, then perhaps this isn't that bad. Expect nothing, and you won't be disappointed...you won't be pleasantly surprised either. 2 stars because it's cheap...REALLY CHEAP. |

| 9 holes with a cart for my 13 year old and I, only $40. The stone walls eat your balls, so you better clear them. I love this place, the staff and the customers are pleasent, and the coarse is well maintained. |
