This narrow course was built on hilly terrain and has tree-lined fairways. The small greens are generally quite fast, and there are water hazards coming into play on eleven holes. The 1923 PGA Championship was held here and the winner was Gene Sarazen. The course strictly enforces the soft spikes only rule.

a little noisy but a nice track, Jul 16, 2009 |

| Fast greens and very well manicured course. 13th hole is a tough par 4 dog leg to the left. From the blues if you cut the corner too much you will be punching out - push it right and you could end up on the train tracks. A few up and down lies on 4, 9, 15 make for some shot making. Overall a nice track as long as you don't let the highway noise bother you on 2, 3, 12 & 17. |

| This course has been destroyed twice for the construction of highways. If someone found water hazards on eleven holes they are playing another course. The ninth hole is the most unfair, hoked up par 4 on the planet and the par 3 finishing hole is a joke. The true gem is the 2nd hole which in my opinion is one of the toughest par 3's in America. It makes the signature 10th at Winged Foot West pale in comparison. |
