Boscobel Country ClubHwy 76 Pendleton, SC 29670 Phone: (864)646-3991
This course was built in 1932, so an abundance of mature oak and pine trees line the fairways. Water hazards come into play on four holes. The most difficult hole is #8, a par 4, which plays longer than the yardage indicated and features an undulating fairway.

Short But Challenging Course, Jun 11, 2004

| A course where the LONG GUNS don't really have that much of an advantage on most holes, although, you can grip it and rip it on a few holes. Lenght off the tee is not nearly as important as accuracy on the par 4's especially. The greens are what make this course special. Undulating, and usually fast, they place a premium on being in the right location, not just "hitting the green".
9 - par Fours (longest #16 is real tough)
5 - par Threes (185, 120, 135, 155, 165)
4 - par Fives. (2 reachable 2 not so reachable)
For the money, a nice course. It is an older course, but well maintained. |

Immaculate Greens, May 21, 2004

| This course has superb greens! The fairways are in good shape, and several holes have very challenging approach shots into the greens due the the design of the greens. Number 5 has an almost impossible pin placement on most days and the lack of a rough on number 6 forces smart golfers to use an iron off the tee on this par four hole.
The only thing that would increase my score review on this course would be a ranger to help speed up play. On occasion the play can become a little slow. |
