This facility has an eighteen hole regulation course, plus a nine hole par 3 course. The Championship Course's signature hole was nicknamed, "Z Hole." This 575-yard, par 5, will really test your golfing abilities. Several scenic views of the surrounding valleys can be seen on the back nine. The club has recently added a beautiful nine hole Par 3 Course adjacent to the Championship Course. According to locals, this is a great place to work on your short game. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men on the Par 3 Course.

Beautiful Course - Very Scenic, Jun 30, 2004

This is a fairly short course, even for a par 3, but it is hilly and includes two holes "in the woods" along side the river. The scenery is absolutely beautiful as the course is adjacent to the Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area. The facilities were great with golf ball washers on about every hole and cold water on the way to the 5th tee. My wife, who is a novice golfer, and I really enjoyed the course. We went over after work around 6 and finished before 8 with plenty of daylight left. We plan to go back several more times this summer.

Hillcrest Country Club
"Miniature Southern Hills"
Hillcrest is an old (built 1926), established, traditional golf course. Originally designed by Perry Maxwell (Southern Hills, Prairie Dunes, Colonial), it was updated in 1980 by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. The course features tree-lined fairways, lots of doglegs, and difficult small greens. It has hosted numerous USGA Qualifiers, an NCAA regional, numerous OGA state amateur events. While short in length, it plays longer because of the doglegs and elevation changes. Course record is 65 and is held by Justin Leonard and several others. This is an excellent golf course that you will want to play again.

Smithtown Landing Golf Club - Regulation Eighteen Course
"Excellent Course"
This course is not easy to play. The back 9 course is pretty difficult to play. There are greens that are up in a mesa style, guarded by a wicked uphill sandtraps. There are a few wide fairway holes but don't let that fool you as your second shot will be in most cases, difficult to assest. Lots of trees and beautiful scenes. It is a really nicely kept course and worth the play!
