This beautiful, heavily-wooded course is challenging to all golfers, and requires precision play. The greens are very large, fast and undulating, while the fairways are tree lined, medium width and fairly flat. Water hazards come into play on eleven holes, dogleg fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. The signature hole is #13, a 148-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a somewhat island green, which is quite undulated. Power golf carts that feature on-board computerized GPS yardage system are mandatory on this course.

Lost Key is a great layout with the best greens in the Gulfshores/Pensacola area. Although the greens are extremely fast they are very puttable if you are on the right side of the hole. The fairways are fairly tight with lateral hazzards down both sides of almost everyone. They should change the course name to Lost Balls. Great course for the money if you hit it fairly straight.

Country Club at Castle Pines
"Best in Colorado"
This course matches with any in difficulty from the tips. It is awesome to play and has many great golf holes. From th regular men's tee it is a terrific course as well. Fairways can be tight so high handicappers may find the course tougher and not as enjoyable as some. But, hey, with the views (best in the country for a mountain course) everyone will love this track. I have guests from all over the country play this course and rave.

River Park Golf Course
"Under estimated"
River Park Golf Course is an amazing asset to the small town of Mackay ID. Many people including myself under estimated this golf course. When I arrived at the course I felt like I was too good of a golfer for a course like River Park but I was completely caught off guard. The narrow fairways, small quick greens and water hazards made it impossible for me to come close to paring the course the first few times. If you want a golfing challenge visit this wonderful course, where you will also be treated with genuine hospitality.

"Review"
Bluebonnet is a very well kept course that offers a challenge to a novice-expert. The 18 holes provide a nice variety of styles from the different ponds and creeks that you incounter. You also play for a very good price.
