The course has been reconstructed in 2000 by designer, Bill Bergin. This is a very narrow and long course with Salam Paspalum fairways bordered by multiple cuts of rough. The terrain is basically flat, but there are some mounds that can affect your lies. The large greens are undulating and some of them are multi-tiered. Many of the tee boxes and greens are elevated. The signature hole is #10, a 447-yard, par 4, rated the 44th hardest hole on the PGA Tour in 1987, and requiring accurate shotmaking up a fairway that is guarded on both sides by water. This club hosted the PGA Pensacola Open for ten years. Tee times can be reserved 7 days in advance through the pro shop and 30 days in advance online.
