This links-style course features a few trees and rolling fairways, which are forgiving except for the strategically-placed bunkers. Wind is a factor during the spring and summer months, and it will always come from the west causing most of the holes to be played in a crosswind. Seventy-two bunkers are positioned around the course, along with a stream and water coming into play on six holes. The greens are often found to be difficult to putt due to their unnoticeable breaks. The signature hole is #7, a 405-yard, par 4, requiring a challenging tee shot that must avoid bunkers to the left and a hazard to the right. The approach shot is played to a very narrow green that is well protected by the hazard to the left, bunkers left and right, and some mounds to the right and rear.

Top 10 Layout In Northern California, Oct 10, 2007 |

| The golf course layout is beautiful. It is accomodating to all skill levels of golfers. The links style rolling hills and lush greens create a prestine atmosphere perfect for a golf outing. Some of the bunkers lacked a little sand, but I did see the maintenance crew addressing that problem. Over all I had a great experience. |
