This golf course is located in a great location for anyone in the metro milwaukee area. Willow Run is a test for a five handicap to a 20!! The water hazards and inviting distaces off the tee's create excitement and misfortune for the brave whom attempt the hard shots. Anyone can play this course from old to young, male to female. enjoy Pewaukee, WI...

Willow Run Golf Course, Apr 01, 2004
reviewer: Dan from Waukesha, Wisconsin
Willow Run Golf Course is a fairly nice course with come challenging holes. Woods lining fairways and water always lerking not to far away, there is a challenge on every hole. Multiple par 5's add distance to the course while the shorter par 3's allow you to work on your short irons. They look easy and short, but wait until you play them, you'll be surprised. The course is nice and all, but the fairways aren't the greatest in the world. Some of them are really beat up and full of divits, ball holes, and just really unlevel. The fairways almost need to be rolled flat with a roller they're so bad. Don't let this discourage you however, this is a nice overall course and these factors make up for an interesting round of golf. It is suitable for all levels of the game and all ages. Come out and experience Willow Run Golf Course in Wisconsin!

Some of the holes are short but with the smaller greens and water meandering around the course it makes you think as to what club to scale back to as well as making sure you don't do too much slicing. Most of the holes you can hit right at the hole if you have a high 8,9 or PW. You have to be careful off the tee on some holes due to the water running across the fairway. The back nine has some undulating fairways. The largest green seems to be No. 18 and it slopes quite a bit downward from back to front. The fairway grass has gotten better over the years since it was known as SLOCUM golf course. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
