Great Course to play, well kept on fairways, greens, and teeboxes, nicest course ive ever played on. I dont think it would be enjoyable to walk though, there are a few holes that have steep hills u would have to walk,plus the course stays pretty busy so you would have a hardtime keeping up. 30.00 dollars to play during the day, 22.00 after 3:00pm

This golf course is the best in Winston Salem. It is a wonderful value. This is a golfs course, nice greens and great service. There is only one place that I would recommend in the Winston Salem area, Grandview Golf Course.

Grandview is a great course to bring all levels of golfers to. It is a very forgiving course that is enjoyable to walk without many hills or long walks from tee to green. I would recommend anyone in the Triad area to go and play to course.

Marshall Canyon Golf Club
"Trickier than you think and don't EVER walk."
Marshall Canyon is a fun course with some quirky holes but for the most part it is pretty fair. The greens are trickier than you think and there are some hole placements that totally suck if you get above the hole. It is a hilly course that you don't want to walk unless you are in very good walking shape. All in all, it is a good course with a decent price.

I have lived in Athens for 6 years and have played many golf courses in the area. Lane Creek has been one of my favorites. Its a great place for tournaments and daily play, The staff is welcoming and the course is always in good shape.

My favorite layout in the Adirondacks, a course you can play 100's of times and never tire of. After a difficult first hole you are presented with good scoring opportunities on the front. Holes 10 thru 13 are as tough as they come and as scenic, they stick in the minds of golfers at every level. Take time to chat (or have a lesson) with John Hall, PGA pro and managing partner, I guarantee he'll be friends with at least one pro from your area.
