This course sits at the base of the Rio Grande Valley and is very scenic. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole. The signature hole is #5, a 411-yard, par 4, with water down the entire right side of the fairway and out-of-bounds stakes down the left side. The prevailing wind blows directly into your face, making this hole longer than the yardage indicates. There are discounts for residents of Pharr.

Good Course, Apr 05, 2004

I just want to say that Tierra Del Sol Golf Club was a great course to play at for me. I am the type of hitter that has everything go off to the right for me and that course was a bit of a help to me because of the dog-leg rights it has. I also appreciate the fact that there aren't too many out of bounds sticks and the sidewalks have the yardage left to the hole marked so you can always estimate what to do next. It was nice.
