This public facility has two regulation eighteen hole courses. Both of these tree-lined courses are fairly flat, but have some mounding that can cause uneven lies. There are water hazards coming into play on at least eight holes per course. The greens are large and medium speed. The Karakung Course was originally nine holes, but an additional nine holes were completed back in 1989. If you only wish to play nine holes on either course, you still must pay the eighteen hole green fee, which are good for all-day play.

Short but interesting, Jun 05, 2004 |

| This course is the beginners counterpart to the more challenging Old Course at Cobb's Creek. The holes are mostly short and fairly easy. However, there are many trouble spots including thick trees and creeks. Hilly with a couple of blind tee shots. Well maintained but gets very soggy in wet weather. Don't mind the locals cutting you off on the last 5 holes, they will generally let you play through. Recommended for all but single digit handicappers who will find it too easy. |
