As a retired senior and active golfer and 10 handy cap i find this course in better shape than most all the time . the course is stright and modest on lenght but has its points of intrest on almost every hole ( it wont be mastered on the first time out ,club house and dining area are very nice and pleasant to be in.

One of the most brutal couses I have played. Played it in 89 and again in 91 by request on Myrtle Beach gof packages. Only lame hole was #2 at that time.

"Must Play"
This golf course has an excellent layout and is a must play in the Detroit area. The greens, fairways, and tees were all in good shape and I believe they had four or five sets of tees to choose from for all different skill levels. The bag drop, shop staff, professionals, bartenders, waitresses, rangers, and starters were all extremely curtious and helpful. I really felt like I was a member at this club. For $70 on a weekend I was a little afraid I wouldn't get my money worth. Now I make about an hour trip a few times a month to play the course.

"Better accurate than long"
Not a lot of distance required here, but you had better be accurate - both off the tee and on the approach. Beautiful setting inclduing occasional glimpses of the Ohio River; well maintained; friendly staff; beautiful clubhouse with excellent food. A real value.
