This course, located in the country, features tree-lined fairways that are narrow. The greens are medium-sized and fast. Ponds come into play on several holes, including on #5, a 465-yard, par 4, which dares you to cut the corner on the dogleg left fairway and carry your shot over water to the well-bunkered green. Short hitters have the option of going the long way, but forget about making a birdie if you do.

Beautiful Course but tough, Jun 17, 2010
reviewer: Katie from Florida
I played this course with my son who was on the Golf Team there locally. It was fun and the course was very beautiful back then. I can't imagine it to look any different at this point. As hot as it gets it is difficult for any course to not have some "hot spots" but with proper watering it will come back. So, I wouldn't be critical, I'd just say it's a good thing Pike Co. has such a great course!

Nice for southern ohio, May 25, 2008
reviewer: Anonymous from Wheelersburg, Ohio
This course is challenging for southern ohio standards. The covered bridges on the cart paths are a nice touch, and the staff was very friendly.

Bunkers could be softer, Sep 05, 2005
reviewer: Anonymous from Columbus, Oh
Wow!! This is a very tough course....If you are not into hilly windy conditions golfer beware....bunkers need work (very hard) and due to the recent heat, found alot of burn spots on the course but I found this to be a rough but fun course........
