This course was cut out of a forest of towering pine trees, so its fairways are narrow. Holes #5 and #12 offer some remarkable scenery. This course is fairly new, but it hasn't taken long to establish itself as being one of the best around. Overall, locals say the course plays as tough as the TPC (Tournament Players Club) Course in Dearborn. In addition, water hazards (ponds) come into play on seven holes. This course also features seven dogleg fairways and well-bunkered greens. The plush fairways are bordered by a thick cut of rough. A twilight rate is available throughout the summer, including all the golf you can play with the use of a power cart.

Great Challenge, Mar 24, 2004 |

| This out of the way course is a great way to feel like you are up north playing one of those expensive courses. Its narrow, tree lined fairways give way to small, challenging greens that make you take a second look before hitting your approach shot or you can pay dearly. I, personally am tired of the "easy to play" course mentality that everyone is taking. This course is for the serious golfer who wants a challenge. Take the drive and take the challenge! It is worth it! |
