This world-renowned course was rated by "Golf Digest" as the best among "America's 100 Greatest Courses" for the years 1995 through 1998. The design features wide fairways and large, fast greens. There are several sand and grass bunkers located throughout the course, and water hazards come into play on four holes. This club has the highest slope and course ratings for men in the continental U.S. A redesign of two holes was completed in 1989 by Tom Fazio and Andy Banfield. Other categories this course led include "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" by "GOLFWEEK" for the years 1997, 1998 and 1999, and the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." by "GOLF Magazine" for the years 1995, 1997 and 1999. The club was also chosen "Best in State" by "Golf Digest" for the years 1995 through 1998. This golf facility also offers a ten hole Short Course designed by Tom Fazio. Due to the private nature of the club, green fees are not available for publication.

| Its not really a par 3 course but a course to replicate some of the great shots on the big course. It may be the best short practice course in the US, outstanding shots and conditions. It allows carts, something the big course does not and is a great place to go out and play in between rounds on the big course. Well worth the visit. |
