This course was built on rolling terrain, so you can expect some uneven lies. Its back nine is longer than its front nine, but the front nine is narrower than the back nine. Water hazards come into play on six holes. The course was redesigned in 1986 by Russell Breeden. This course was rated in the top 100 in the U.S. by "Golf for Women Magazine."

Bear Creek is a very pleasureable course to play. To the unexperienced golfer it may appear difficult, and it is. Bear Creek is one of the hardest courses in Washington. Surrounded by beautiful homes and beautiful mountain views it is not only a challenging course but a scenic one.After living in the commnunity for several years take it from someone who knows, BEar Creek is the way to go!

"classic course"
This course has a high number of large oak trees and beautiful wildlife habitat. The rolling hills are a classic terrian. I do not like the moguls on contrived new courses, so I may be a little biased. This layout is fun to play.

"Nice course but difficult to get on........"
This is a great course, provided you can get on it. Always packed, best course in the area by far....I played here once and I am a resident, that shows you how hard it is to get a tee time here, used to be they only wanted non-residents because they pay more to play, (residents get a great discounted rate)...bad management idea there, of course residents complained and alot has changed....if you get the chance to play here by all means do it...you wont regret it...
