This executive course is well maintained. The terrain is flat, so walking is no problem for seniors. Most holes are wide open and there are very few out-of-bounds areas. Water hazards (lakes) come into play on several holes. The fairways are and tree lined, and the undulating greens are elevated. Sand bunkers have been incorporated into the designs of most holes. In the summer they have discounted green fees for these who want to walk the course.

Good Executive course, May 25, 2004

This course is made for the retiree's living around it. A comfortable par 63 with plenty of room to recover from a mistake. Longest par four is 350 ys, shortest is 255. Average par 4 is around 275, average par 3 is around 150. Greens in good shape. They are trying to make them faster. Fairways wide open and well maintained. The rough isn't all that rough. Little elevation changes, mostly the greens and tee boxes raised a bit. Very few sand traps and water rarely in play (usually bordering fairways rather than crossing them). Great for beginners and working on your game. A nice afternoon walk on the course. As a bonus, the pro shop has probably the best prices on equipment in Pinellas County.
