This mountain course was built in a forest located at 7,300 feet elevation. The fairways are all lined with large pine trees. There is an abundance of wildlife on and around the course. Members of other private clubs can play Monday through Thursday if the tee times are arranged by the guest's club professional. Nine additional holes were added by Jack Snyder in 1959.

| This georgeous golf course located in the White Mountains of Arizona offers a great golf experience for all golfers. The ponderosa pine tree lined fairways offer magnificant views as well as a great test of golf shots on every hole. The 18th hole with water coming into play on the second shot leaves the golfer with great memories of playing this great course. |

| At 6500 yards this course will not leave you muttering expletives and nursing a sore back. It is deceptively challanging with it's 200 yard plus par 3's and exquisite putting surfaces. The fairways are primarily bent grass with rye blue grass roughs. The tee boxes are large, flat and cut perfectly. Each hole is framed beautifly by a mature stand of Ponderosa Pines with the houses well back from the course. The blend of the natural surroundings with the golf course is so well balanced that it is hard to imagine an architect other than the almighty. A round of golf at White Mountain Country Club leaves no after-taste other than the desire to get another quick 9 before you go home. |
