This course is very hilly with a beautiful view of the mountains. The fairways are lined with oak and pine trees, and the greens are small. Some minor renovations were made during 1994.

|great time playing the course. the golf pro and his " assistant " were arrogant and rude. i've played many golf courses all over the world and never once encountered the bush league attitude of this pro and his trailer park side kick.|

|BHCC is a Tillinghast design that has been in existance for I'm guessing about 80 years. Traditional old New England style with smallish greens that have subtle breaks. Fairways are a mix of broad fairly open holes with others that have old growth trees while some are bordered by pines that were planted 30 years ago. As the name implies, its hilly, with few level lies. Most holes are right in front of you, so no hidden hazards. Only one water hole. Back nine has 3 par 5s and while the front has 3 par 3s. Toughest stretch is 5-9.|
