| The Country Club of Pittsfield is one of Western Massachusetts most exclusive courses. The fairways are wide and the greens are large enough for even the highest handicappers. However, hidden ungulations in the terrian make this course challinging for all. The layout of the course is beautiful, with numerous water hazards and a water spouting fountain that challenges your approach to the 2nd green. A great view of the rolling western Massachusetts mountains and Moorewood Lake make the teeing off at the 8th hole unforgettable. The only minor drawbacks to this course is an occasional blind tee shot or approach shot. Still, the Country Club of Pittsfield is one of western Massachusetts hidden gems and should be played everyone with a love for the game. |
