This is one of Long Islands best kept secrets. Up there with the best courses I have played. This course is quite beautiful and challenging. If you are not a good player, 10 handicap or better, you might find it frustrating but it is a very fair course. I played with a top pro who commented that he would like to have this course in his back yard. He loved it. It is laid out in the vein of a classic well thought out course. No trickery. Good caddies and very well maintained. The course is home to many wall street titans who are used to the best and will not settle for less

Hilly, not long, lots of uphill/downhill lies, tough fast greens, first 2 holes are killers if you're not on your game, if you're good you can maybe score..if your not this course will eat you up.

Laurel Golf Club
"It's the people"
I love this golf course. I play in a tournament here every year. I always think I'm going to do better but it has these challenges that change my swing. You will find yourself protecting against going out of bounds, water hazards, sand, trees...they have it all. The number 9 eats me up. It's a dogleg right and if you can manage to stay away from the small canyon on the right you still have the challenge getting on the green that you better save an extra stroke for! Be careful if you go over this green....nothing but trouble. The main thing about this course is the people. They treat you like you were the only one playing that day. You will love the scenery also.

Sunset Hill Golf Club
"Sunset is an awesome course!"
Sunset Hill is an awesome course. I play on a high school golf team, and its our practice course. But after season is over, we have to start paying to play golf again. The one thing that Sunset is good for is that it's cheap and reliable. I as a high school athelete, don't feel like paying 50 dollars to go play some course with a tee time that is just horrible. Sunset on the other hand has a low price thats friendly to the everyday golfer. So it might not be in the best shape, but its fun to play because there is no rush and its cheap to play. All in all, its an awesome course!

"Lots of fun."
A great course that gives you alot of different looks. Short (almost drivable) par fours and long par 4 into the prevailing winds. A couple of reachable par 5s (for the long hitters). I enjoy playing it everytime I am over there.

Logan Golf & Country Club
"Incredible views and greens"
Located at the mouth of logan canyon this is one of the most picturesque courses in Utah. The greens are hand mowed providing good pace and a very ture roll. I would include playing this course on any trip to northern Utah.
