This course, which opened in October, 1996, features a challenging layout of rolling hills and tree-lined fairways. All the greens are accessible from the front, are large in size, fast and undulating, while the fairways are average width, fairly flat and forgiving. The signature hole is #7, a 161-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over White Rock creek to a large, sloped green. Senior walking rates are available before 8 AM and after 1 PM Monday through Friday. Junior walking rates are available any day after 10 AM. Carts are mandatory on weekends before 2 PM. The green fees indicated are good for all-day play. The course has an automated tee system that can be accessed beginning at 5 AM.

Poor customer service at Ridgeview Ranch. Don't go. They do not care about the customer at all!!! Stay away. Stay far, far away. Go to a real golf course.

Good coarse for the money, Dec 18, 2005
reviewer: jc from frisco, tx
This is a good consistant coarse. The greens are nice year round. The coarse plays easy due to wide fairways and a couple side by side hole to start your round. The only downside to the coarse is, it plays a little slow on the weekend like all public coarses, and it lacks a little character. Over all i would recommend this coarse.

Good Course, Sep 16, 2005
reviewer: ZOD from Plano
The course is nice, with well kept fairways. The greens are hit or miss. The practice facilities are convenient and cover the basic aspects of the game. Overall this course is worth the $50.

GOLFING WITHOUT GREENS, May 07, 2005
reviewer: James Underwood from addison, TX USA
The way there greens are this early in the season (05/08/05)I would hate to see them in august. I just realized that with the way their greens are the course setup backwards instead of tee to green it should be green to tee. They should stick flags on every tee box because their tee boxes with all their divots are way less torn up than their greens. Did I mention that their greens really suck! Fifty three dollars a round what a joke -- on me.

A Must Play, Nov 30, 2004
reviewer: Jim D. from The Colony, Tx
I've played in a number of different course in 2004 and my group and I really liked this course. We even held a small tourney here. The course was in great shape. Greens - superior! Pace was never a problem. Play it and enjoy!

One of North Texa's finnest, Jun 07, 2004
reviewer: Ryan from Dallas, TX
I have to say for as much golf as I play this course was in perfect shape. The fairways were soft and perfectly green. The bunkers were a bit muddy due to the recent rain. The greens were like foam, perfect for a great afternoon of golfing. I highly recomond this course. the best part about this course is the wildlife around. It is the most beautiful golf course in North Texas. A must play. June 2004

I hope you like the wind!!, Apr 22, 2004
reviewer: Anonymous from PA
I played pretty early in the season and the grass was all very, very short. Balls just roll and roll there under those conditions and I found my self in several fairway bunkers because of it. With the rough short as well it was easy to get into a tight spot if your drive went just a bit astray as well. Greens were consistent and in great shape. I would definatly play again if I was in the area. Course was designed with the wind in mind, so if you look at the card and see a short par 4 in the opposite direction of a long one... watch out!! They probably play pretty much the same length.
