This is a tight course that can be difficult. Canals come into play on every hole, and the fairways are lined with trees and thick rough. The fast greens are somewhat sloped. The signature hole is #17, a 178-yard, par 3, requiring a shot over water.

Hidden treasure, Mar 31, 2004

I can't believe this jewel is located just 1/2 mile west of the intersection of Flamingo Road and Broward Blvd.! Basically in the middle of every thing..... We played in just 3&1/2 hours and didn't rush. Fairways were lush, and the greens - with 2 exceptions- were great. Prices were fair and the staff first class. A great place to take your boss if you're concerned about demonstrating appreciation for the saying "bang for your buck."

Twin Hills Golf Course
"Well conditioned and fun to play"
I have a 6 cap and play all the courses in our area. I belong to a private club but still enjoy a round of golf at Twin Hills. The course is short for most big hitters, but still has plenty of trouble. You will find beautiful fairways and greens throughout the year. The speed of play will be around 4 hours for 18. I don't think there are too many courses that have the quality of golf and conditions that Twin Hills offers for the price. It is well worth the time to play here.

Mill Creek Golf Club
"Living and Playing Mill Creek"
I chose to live in the Mill Creek Community after playing Mill Creek Golf Course. The course is long enough to challenge the low handicapper while allowing the average golfer to handily compete. While each hole presents its unique challenge, holes 7, 9, and 15 can be particularly formidable. Hole 7 is a reasonably short par 4, just 326 yards from the white tees and 400 yards from the championship tees, but take the ball out of the fairway -- kiss it good bye. Hole 9 (359 yards from the white tees and 439 from the championship tees) commands distance and accuracy from the tee if one expects to reach the green in two. A bed of rocks to the left of the fairway, woods to the right, and a ravine paralleling its length on the left with a wide ditch crossing the fairway about 50 yards from the green, simply command excellent club selection. Hole 15 and be a pussy cat or a bear. Wind in your face requires a long wood. Wind with you, and a five iron may place your ball in a 50 yard water and grass hazzard which crosses the fairway about 100 yards from the green. The entire course undulates and winds through just over 7000 yards from the championship tees. The fairways allow the ball to be played down while the bent greens firmness can cause many putter miscalulations. All in all, this is a great course -- especially at fees ranging from $39 - $59, cart included.

Shaker Farms Country Club
"Excellent Greens"
Found course to be very challenging. Greens were the best I have ever played on. Some areas on course under repair with new irrigation system, but that will only improve the fairways. Look forward to playing the course in the future.

Round Lake Public Golf Course
"What Pleasant Surprise!"
My husband and I found this wonderful little course by accident! Most holes are par 3 and Roundlake Golf is nestled in the pine trees about 15 minutes from Klamath Falls. The people who work in the pro-shop are wonderful!
