This regulation eighteen hole course offers two entirely different front and back nines. The front nine holes features wide open fairways with rolling hills. The front nine is also located at a higher elevation than the back nine. The back nine holes are cut out of the woods with many trees surrounding the fairways. The back nine is also very tight and narrow with relatively flat fairways. The signature hole is the #4, a 422-yard, par 4, which features a very steep up and down fairway. This hole is very tight with numerous trees lining the fairway, which doglegs to the right halfway down the hole. The 6,008-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 73.4 and a slope of 127.

A Good Challenge, Apr 18, 2005 |

| This is a very fine course for the Des Moines Area. I often have a season pass and every time I play it is a challenge. The front nine is very forgiving, until the 9th hole, which is a dogleg right that has different elevations and a tree lined fairway. The back is much tighter and players can easily shoot high 40's and 50's if they don't watch themselves. It's a good challenge for any golfer. |

Great Golf, May 21, 2004 |

| Copper Creek is an excellent course with a variety of holes and great turf conditions. The front nine is open and forgiving, until the par 4 ninth when things get interesting. Many opportunities to play smart after that. A good test for any golfer, and very good turf! |
