Gem in the City, Nov 10, 2004

This a real Portland treasure. Since the 1930's, It has always been a hard-to-beat staple of Portland Golf. However, since the beginning of 2004, with new management, a new greenskeeper and a greatly improved capital improvement program, this is the best course for the money in the Portland metro area.

A good course. Playable with carts. Greens run slow but are small and hard to hit. Dealing with the Columbia Slue is a chore on more than one hole. Good speed of play throughout the course.
