Many dont know that this course is located within the Portland Meadows Horse track. A great course that allows players to use their drivers on no less than five holes though not considered a par three course. Very small greens make for interesting short game practice and high scores. Great service and low prices sometimes make up for AFTER WORK PLAY (slow), as this course is popular with low and high handicappers alike. Golf range included.

Hillcrest Country Club
"Miniature Southern Hills"
Hillcrest is an old (built 1926), established, traditional golf course. Originally designed by Perry Maxwell (Southern Hills, Prairie Dunes, Colonial), it was updated in 1980 by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. The course features tree-lined fairways, lots of doglegs, and difficult small greens. It has hosted numerous USGA Qualifiers, an NCAA regional, numerous OGA state amateur events. While short in length, it plays longer because of the doglegs and elevation changes. Course record is 65 and is held by Justin Leonard and several others. This is an excellent golf course that you will want to play again.

Lake Junaluska Golf Course
"Nice game for the price/area."
Lake Junaluska is a decently manicured course, which is fun to play for the price. Very reasonable green fees usually mean lacking in the ammeneties... but do we go there to golf or what? Rolling hills and manicured greens make it a nice time.
