This course is very tight and features many sand bunkers. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The signature hole is #15, a 200-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee over a lake to a severely sloped and well-bunkered green.

Rock Creek Country Club-Best Value in Portland, Jan 23, 2007 |

| I remember playing the course as a kid and it was more like a municipal course for kids--almost likened to a big open field with immature trees and not much trouble. As someone mentioned in one of the other reviews it has changed. It is truly the best value in the Portland metro area. The greens are nicely manicured and the fairways are excellent (when I find them). The driving range is natural grass and there are great targets. It has brought the joy (and frustration) of golf back into my life. There are some great water shots that are always enjoyable. |

| Great Course - A Private Club in excellent shape. Overall great layout with a good mix of difficult and easier holes. Greens were fast and in great shape. A course that requires you to think and use every club in your bag. Bring your "A" game if you expect to play well. |

| I had an awesome experience playing here. Members and employees were not only friendly but very helpful. Greens are not as dry as they used to be, and tees are much greener now to play on. This course definitely helps you work on your staight game, bad for a hook player. Very picturesque and beautiful! |

Affordable and Challenging, Apr 13, 2004 |

| Good affordable private course that presents many challenges. Tee shots can be demanding with OB on the left side for 16 of the 18 holes. Not good for a hook or pull player. Fast and hard greens in the summer and not always playable in winter. Watch out for the more than occasional 5-somes though. |

Sleeper Course, Feb 16, 2004 |

| This is a private track that is a sleeper course that is playable during the dry times. It can lull you to sleep with it's residential layout and two different sides. It is long with opprotunity for penalty strokes on all holes. The greens are sloping, fast in the summer receptive in the winter. |
