This very challenging course has five lakes that come into play on eleven holes. This course has many trees that can alter your shots and several sand bunkers throughout its design. Hole #14, a 344-yard, par 4, requires a tee shot onto a short dogleg fairway that veers around a lake on the left side. The 6,133-yard men's tee is also rated for the ladies. For tee time reservations, call (503) 292-8570.

The course is a magnificent inner city challenge. The fairways were in excellent shape and greens are tremendously well maintained, especially for a municipal course. The trees have all been recently pruned making some errant tee shots easier to find. However the 18th hole is one of the toughest holes this 21 year veteran has ever played. You must basically kick a field goal between two ancient doug. fir trees with your tee shot. If you pass between the two goliaths, you then are faced with a tougher challenge. An approach shot of 190-220 yds, to this very tricky green, with bunkers on each side. Scoring par on this 442 yard monster is one of the most satisfying I've ever experienced. Truly a test for any skilled golfer.

A very balanced course with a lot of varied types of holes-- definitely not boring. A few hills, several water hazards, traps where needed and a nice selection of trees. I live ten blocks from the course but even if it wasn't convenient I would still travel here to play. Also great drainage-- I played here a few days after torrential rains and the course wasn't soggy and the greens were playing fairly fast. Highly recommended!

Great relaxing course, some killer hole #10 green hiding making it almost imposiblle to eagle when the hole is located in rear right. Pretty challenging course, some tight areas, many uphill shots. Greens are almost perfect. Overall one of the most beautiful course that I have played on.

This is my 2nd year as a golfer and i am 15 years old. I enjoy this course because it is not to easy and not to hard. Everytime i go out for a round this course always gives me a challenge and improves my game even when i have a bad day. My grandpa works in the pro shop and he is a great golfer and he is the reason i started golfing and i am very glad i did. so everyone should come out and visit rose city to see how this course works for you.
